Parents or guardian board members will get the rare chance to work alongside students on impactful fundraising efforts.

Open to all students currently in grades 8 through 10, as well as parents and guardians. Board members serve for a two-year term beginning May 2025. The ability to attend monthly board meetings and participate in seasonal fundraising efforts is a requirement of being a board member.

ABSAF Funds at Work

ABSAF members believe that extracurricular activities help to develop well-rounded children with healthy self-esteems. Whether students are interested in music, sports, academic teams, theater, speech and debate or community service, they should have the opportunity to participate in programs that provide constructive and creative outlets. Here are some examples of how ABSAF funding has helped students foster these activities in the past. Without ABSAF, fees would be higher and some activities would not be possible.

Performing Arts

Donations to ABRHS Proscenium Circus. New stage curtains and sounds system for the RJ Grey Junior High musical. Band uniforms.

Athletics

Team supplies, equipment, and athletic uniforms. Transportation to away games.

Academic Teams
